If you missed the RMA Portland Metro Chapter luncheon on the future of commercial real estate and capital markets, you missed a lot. This peek at why the Rose City is growing leaps and bounds fascinates. Massive job growth and record numbers of college grads headed our way. Rapid increases in industrial construction are pushing growth outward, away from the city core. Portland boasts one of the tightest commercial markets on the west coast. These trends represent opportunities, not only for in demand professionals and investors but for tradespeople and service providers of every stripe.
Huge thanks to Patricia Raicht, JLL Senior Vice President of Research, and to Moderator Buzz Ellis, Managing Director at JLL for breaking it all down brilliantly and for allowing us to share their data and pictographs at RMAPortlandMetro.org. And special thanks to the RMA Board members and President, Jan Heald Robinson, for hosting a terrific lunch and learn.
